Hello all, my name is Robert Dorf. I post on the Hero Boards as OddHat. 

I'm still thinking over my character concept. I had originally planned on something between Stephen Chow's character in All for the Winner and his character in Shaolin Soccer, but as these are a bit light for Kazei 5 I'm rethinking him. My current idea: "David" Hark was born in the Shanghai metroplex. He lived with his mother in the whore house that employed her until he was eight years old, getting what education his mother could get for him from the VR immersion boxes used to keep the whores entertained and docile. Fearing that he would soon be used as a plaything by the brothel's clients shocked his mother into aranging for his "escape". He was sold to a Peking Opera revival troup. The training was brutal, even with the limited learning-drugs and VR simulations the always barely profitable troop could afford, but David had a natural talent for the work. By his early teens, when the troop had moved on to Hong Kong, he was one of their stars. That's when his Esper traits first forcefully showed themselves. During a performance, David seriously injured two of his "Older Brothers", and caused considerable damage to the theatre. Terified, David fled. Now 19 years old, David has eaked out a living as, among other things, a minor thug, a street performer, a porter, a gambler, a tout, and a personal body guard. The combination of martial art training and ESPer powers has assisted him in each of thee roles. He'd like to find a way to become respectable, become an entertainer, maybe join a fine corporation or open up his own restaurant.  He has seen enough of the criminal life, but he doesn't know how to get out.
