[K5pbem] Update on game status

Hello all. I am Savinien from the Hero Game boards and extremely new to the
Kazei 5 setting. So new, in fact, I continually type Kazie as opposed to
Kazei. I'm not all that familiar with anime, nor Gibson's work. I do know a
bit about Blade Runner and I like to write interactive fiction.
I have no character concepts in mind whatsoever (though I do like playing
detectives).
Anybody got any ideas?

Subject: [K5pbem] Update on game status
I have added a number of new people to the mailing list over the past
few days.
I think it would be a good idea for those people to introduce
themselves and possible present their character concepts. At the same
time, the original players might want to do the same.
I will be adding new material to the secret page -- specifically some
basic package deals for cyborgs, genetic upgrades, and espers.
Next up will be a basic overview of Hong Kong. One of the new players
has actually been there, and he might want to give his impressions.
As I have said before, I will be basing the K5 Hong Kong on the Hong
Kong described in the Feng Shui supplement "Blowing Up Hong Kong."
The game will officially kick off January 1, 2006. Game time will be
January 1, 2039. Stories can be pre- or post-dated, of course, just
make sure to include a date in the story header.
I will be re-posting the DITL theme come January 1, 2006. The theme
is "Some Enchanted Evening" -- short stories taken from Blue Oyster
Cult song titles. I am open to suggestions for the next DITL.
As a final note, I downloaded the "Blade Runner: Esper Edition" a 2
CD bootleg soundtrack to the film. I highly recommend it as "theme
music."

Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when
you do criticize him, you'll be a mile away and have his shoes.
