Okay then, here is Vivian Lau's "to do" list (or more accurately, my "to do"
list of Vivian stories):

1). Move to Hong Kong with Raven and get settled in, do some socializing
with Raven.

2). Training sessions with Raven.

3). Attend Raven's next dinner party (and be seriously intimidated by the
other guests).

4). Start trying to set herself up as an esper-for-hire, similar to the way
Raven operates. This probably isn't too easy at first: Raven is well known
and has a good reputation, while Vivian is a young and unknown quantity.

5). Various stories revolving around her becoming an esper-for-hire. Some
possible ideas just off the top of my head:

-- Perhaps Raven will let her "test the waters" by assisting on a few of her
jobs?
-- Corp hires her for a simple job; later discovers they were just testing
her before trying to lure her into signing a contract with them (which she
will refuse to do).
-- Jinsei or S-T try to hire her for a job, and get *firmly* rejected
-- Sometimes the job itself and how it goes (or fails) will be the story.
Vivian may earn a bit of a rep as "collateral damage girl".
-- Unable to get her to sign a contract, and discovering she has no legal
identity or citizenship to protect herself with, a corp (Jinsei?) resorts to
trying to kidnap her.
-- Perhaps a second corp tries to kill her to keep her out of the first
corps hands?

6). I hope that at some point along the way, Vivian - who has spent the last
five years in relative isolation, after all - will trade in her theoretical
learning about the birds and the bees for some more practical experience.

This is only a start. I'm sure I'll think of many more story ideas as time
goes on, and will get sucked into other people's stories as well. I also
have some more vague story objectives - for instance, I'd like to have
Vivian do some more stories with Sarah Ferrari, although I'm not sure how to
get them together just yet. Also, Mat and I have already established that at
some point, Eliza (a.k.a. The Puma formerly known as Shion-hime) will join
us in Hong Kong, and that will likely lead to a story or two as well.
