I like it! Given the number of espers it appears we are going to end up 
running around with this time, it seems very approriate to have an esper 
related sub-plot hovering in the background that could help generate story 
scenarios for us - and having some of the most notable and powerful espers 
in the world trying to figure out how to find, gather, and organize them (or 
even decide if they should) seems like it could grow into something that 
would fit the bill perfectly.
