I wouldn't get too worked up.  My Japanese stinks, however, I
get the impression that Maid RPG is firmly in the genre of games
like _Hick: The Roleplaying Game_ and the seminal example of
the genre _Macho Women With Guns_.  In other words, the tongue-
in-cheek, parody genre.

See above, then go peruse the RPG sites.  You'll find games and
supplements even freakier than Maid right here in the "Western"
world.

Having said all that, I'd agree with the sentiment about gamers
actually playing the game, if they were playing seriously and
not just for shits and giggles.  That, I would find... freaky. :)
Then again, I've been unfortunate enough to witness similar acts
of stupidity, insanity, depravity (choose two) by gamers right
here in the states, so.... :)
