For the most part, characters don't pay for equipment with character  
points, they use the idea of Equipment Points given in Dark  
Champions. Personal, one-of-kind items, such as a favorite gun, or  
BGC-style hardsuit you would pay for. You also can have a base or  
vehicle -- last game one character had a tricked-out motorcycle.

As a side note -- why would your character need a Sidewinder or TOW  
missile?
