A good point. ;-)  I was alternatively thinking of a baseball bat, or the 
old 'Gee, just happned to be cleaning the guns today when you came over.  But 
sure come on in.' approach.  But, the way my daughter likes boys already 
(cry!) I figure that the guns just won't need cleaned that often.   

However, since my daughter is interested in kung fu after seeing some demos, 
then naybe it would be a good excuse to get involed and the find some where to 
learn some real sword play of my own - as opposed to the SCA / SCA like stuff 
I did when younger.
