I don't have my notes here at work but it's a fairly easy fit. Consider

You have mention of The Androids Rights Act of 1978 and an explanation of
the use of Idols to control Japanese society.
Also in the strip you have Rent a Zilla's, which are genetic mutants
available for whatever as well as other Mutant Freaks. Magical Girls work
quite well as Espers as do the Ninja's who provide security for a price.
The Tokyo Police Cataclysm Division isn't in business to prevent
catastrophe's but rather to have them occur in a managable fashion.
