Except Eastwood has said "No, it's the Marshal's brother"  -- to  
which I say "you have got to be kidding."

Spoiler:
Marta is supposed to be the vengeful ghost of Shion. I tried to drop  
hints to this effect -- such as staying underwater too long, having  
cold skin, being able to vanish from her room as fast as she did,  
having grey eyes (Marta's are brown IIRC), and so on.
